I am Calvin Caldwell. These pages follow my Destiny trials archive and my Forever reading journals. The purpose of this website is to share reading logs, game trials, and personal notes without gathering unnecessary data. The policy here is straightforward and asks for as little from you as possible.

Information collected on this site

Visiting and interacting with these pages leaves only a few basic technical and personal records.

• Contact form details. When you reach out through the contact form, you provide a name, an email address, and the text of your message.
• Server logs. Standard web servers record typical technical details such as your internet protocol address, browser type, operating system, visit duration, and the specific pages you view.
• Essential cookies. The site uses basic cookies to keep pages loading properly and to help defend against automated spam submissions.

Why this data is kept

Every trace of data retained serves a direct, practical purpose for running the site.

• Replying to your notes. If you ask a question or send a thought, your email address is needed so I can write back.
• Site maintenance and safety. Log files help diagnose broken links, keep server software stable, and block malicious traffic or spam bots.
• Reading habits. Knowing which reading journals get finished and which trial entries are read helps me see what resonates with readers and where to focus future writing.

No marketing and no data sales

Your information remains private and is never treated as a commodity.

• Personal details, browsing patterns, and contact notes are never sold, rented, or traded to data brokers or advertising agencies.
• You will not receive promotional mailouts, automated marketing sequences, or unsolicited email.
• If any form of opt-in newsletter or announcement is introduced in the future, your direct permission will always come first.

Third parties and hosting

I do not distribute your information to outside entities.

• The web host retains standard server logs as an unavoidable part of managing web traffic and maintaining server infrastructure.
• Beyond the hosting provider, data is never shared unless explicitly required by law or necessary to defend the archive against targeted attacks and abuse.

Security care and limits

I take sensible precautions to protect the information that passes through this site. Security updates are maintained and access to logs is restricted. At the same time, no site on the open web can promise impossible guarantees of complete invulnerability. Collecting very little information in the first place remains the best way to keep your data safe.

Managing your personal traces

You remain in charge of any information you leave behind.

• You may write to ask for a copy of your messages and records.
• You may ask to amend incorrect details or have your contact notes completely erased.
• Reach out directly through the contact page to request removal. I handle every request personally within a few days.

Young readers

This site is written for older audiences and is not intended for readers under thirteen years of age. I do not deliberately collect details from children. Any information belonging to a young reader will be deleted as soon as I am notified.
